Function Battle

Maths artillery · iPhone, iPad & Android

Aim with maths.

Write a function, fire the graph and knock out the other squad. Turn-based battles against the computer, a friend on the same phone, or up to ten players online.

Coming to the App Store and Google Play in October 2026.

f(x) = 14·sin(πx/130) − 22.2·(x/93.3)60 + 11.4/(94.3 − x) one shot, three hits

How a shot works

Every shot is a graph. The battlefield is a coordinate grid, and your function decides the path.

  1. Type a function

Use the maths keypad: 0.25*x, sin(x), x^2/40, fractions, powers and roots.

  2. Fire the graph

Your curve flies across the grid from your character. Bend it over walls, around pillars and onto the enemy.

  3. Learn from the miss

You see exactly where your function went, so the next shot is better. Skill decides every match.

Safer online play

For everyone

11 languages, larger text, reduced motion, and separate sound, music and vibration settings.

A maths game that doesn't feel like homework

Linear, quadratic, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions are all ammunition. It's graphing, algebra and trigonometry practice with a bang. Teachers can run a whole class through private rooms with a six-letter code.
